Iran fantasy short 'Genesis' to screen at Greek event

Iranian fantasy short 'Genesis' by Abtin Mozaffari has been selected to screen at a film festival in Greece.

Mozaffari's fantastical animation 'Genesis' will go on screen at the Athens AnimFest, which will be held in the Greek capital from March 15-18.

The short film with a critical point of view tells the story of a horrible situation in Syria.

"This is the first episode of my episodic film and I'm going to make the next three episodes. In this film, you will see a container and the story of the container will be told in the second episode," Mozaffari elaborated.

Other Iranian films will be screened at the Greek event, including 'Alphabet' by Kianoush Abedi among others.

Films from Germany, Denmark, Spain, France, the US, Estonia and several other countries will be screened during the event as well.
